Public Allegations

Here we list those individuals who have been publicly accused of abuse or of sexual misconduct, that is, behavior which is inconsistent with Orthodox teachings on sexuality. When the allegations have been denied, this will be reported as well.

Obviously, these claims have not been subjected, or have not yet been subjected, to the criminal court, the church court, or the civil court process. However, we note that false allegations are rare. Accordingly, we believe that there is merit in bringing these accusations to the attention of the Orthodox community.

We strive for accuracy. Consequently, if you have information that the accusations have been retracted, please share that information with us. You can expedite the correction process by providing documentation to support your contention.
